What arrives in your inbox

One ASIN, public data only. A 4–6 page PDF, written by a person.

  • First impression: your main image next to the category leaders.
  • Where your main selling point sits, and whether shoppers get that far.
  • Copy: the features you list next to the reasons a buyer pays.
  • Image order: one recommendation to start with.
  • A dollar estimate, with every assumption written out.
  • A summary and the next step.

What isn’t in it

  • A detailed fix plan. That’s the full audit.
  • Your internal numbers. We see only what a shopper sees.
  • A growth promise, a call or account access.
  • Help for new products without sales, or when the problem is stock, delivery or the product itself. If we see that, we say so.

If it’s an easy fix, fix it yourself.

Toddler Straw Sippy Bottle, 8 oz / 240 ml

First impression

Your main image next to the category leaders

  • Illustrative toddler straw bottle on white, front view: clear body with ml and oz markings, blush-pink flip-top lid closed, two pink handlesYours
  • Illustrative category leader: a sage-green straw cup with the lid open and the straw upLeader 1
  • Illustrative category leader: a sky-blue straw cup with the lid open and the straw upLeader 2
  • Illustrative category leader: a sand-beige sippy cup with a closed dome lidLeader 3

Illustrative products.

We put your main image next to the three best-selling straw bottles in the same search. Two of them show the lid open and the straw up, so a parent sees how a toddler drinks from it before reading anything. Your main image shows the bottle closed, from the front. It is clean, but in a row of search results it looks like any clear plastic bottle.

You can fix this within Amazon’s main image rules: same white background, lid open, straw visible.

Core benefit

Where your strongest point sits

Your strongest point is the weighted straw: a toddler can drink with the bottle tipped at any angle, in a stroller or a car seat. On the page it appears twice, in the third bullet and in photo 4 of 5. A parent who looks at the first two photos and the first bullet never learns about it.

Features, and the reasons a parent pays

Your bullets list features: BPA-free plastic, 6 months and up, weighted straw, ml and oz markings, removable handles. Each is true, and none says what changes for the parent. Similar bottles start at $11.99. At $15.99, the page has to say why the extra $4 is worth it.

Two questions stay open. Which plastic is it? “BPA-free” only says what is missing. And up to what age does it work?

Your top critical review says the bottle leaked in a bag. If the lid locks, say so in the first bullet. If it doesn’t lock, that is a product question, and no copy will fix it.

Image order

One change to start with

Now: 1, bottle closed, front view · 2, bottle with handles · 3, lid close-up · 4, weighted straw diagram · 5, size chart.

Now

  • Illustrative toddler straw bottle on white, front view: clear body with ml and oz markings, blush-pink flip-top lid closed, two pink handles
  • The same bottle with its two pink handles clicked off and lying beside it. Text: Two handles click off. For small hands. Remove them any time.
  • Close-up of the pink flip-top lid open, with the clear straw spout standing up. Text: Flip-top lid. Opens with one press.
  • Three of the bottles with water, upright, tilted and lying on its side, the weighted straw in the water each time. Text: Drinks at any angle. The weighted straw follows the water.
  • Size chart: the bottle is 6.9 in tall and 2.8 in wide. Text: 8 oz, 240 ml. Markings from 30 to 240 ml.

Our recommendation: move the weighted straw to photo 2 and show it in use, with the bottle tipped in a toddler’s hands.

The full order for every image, with the parent’s question each one answers, is part of the full audit.

Dollar estimate

What one more buyer is worth

Assumptions, all ours: 3,000 visits a month and the current price of $15.99. We don’t know your conversion rate, so we don’t use it.

If one more visitor in every hundred buys, that is 30 more orders, or about $480 a month.

This is arithmetic, not a forecast. The full audit replaces our assumptions with your own numbers.

Summary and next step

The product has a real advantage, and the page hides it.

The bullets can be rewritten today. The main image needs one new product photo on white, with the lid open. Photo 2 needs one photo of the bottle in use.

If you want the full plan, the full audit covers every image, the copy, A+ and your own numbers, for $500. Questions? Reply to this email.

What’s the catch with the free review?

It’s how we show our work, on your own listing. You get one recommendation you can use yourself. The full plan is the $500 audit, if you want it. There are no calls, and we never ask for a card or access to your account.

How does the free review work?

You send one ASIN. We read the page the way a buyer would and email a 4–6 page PDF by the end of the next business day, New York time. Requests after 3 pm, on weekends or on US public holidays count from the next business day. What’s included

Do you only work with Amazon US?

Yes, for now. Our reviews and audits are written for listings on amazon.com. If your product sells in other Amazon stores too, send the amazon.com link. We write in the language of your request, English or Russian.

One ASIN is enough to start.
